As a Community Health Center, FamilyCare knows that a healthy mind is an important part of being "well". That is why we now have a psychiatrist to help treat symptoms of depression, anxiety, and other mental illnesses. We also have therapists available for those with no funding. • National Institute of Mental Health - Much like Mental Help Net, includes information about different illnesses, as well as the latest mental health news.

• National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) - National organization where patients and their families can learn, meet people with similar problems, and teach others.

• Suicide Awarenes Voices of Education (SAVE) - Includes basic information on depression and suicide, self-tests for depression and a suicide hotline number.

• Prestera - Our community mental health provider - provides treatment to patients without insurance and who are unable to pay
