Our practice philosophy is based on a "primary midwife" model, where each client has most of her visits with the same person for improved continuity of care and for greater satisfaction.

PRENATAL CARE

• pregnancy testing
• prenatal care throughout pregnancy
• physician and midwife co-management or referral to specialist care if necessary
• midwife care for healthy low risk women
• ultrasound referrals
• childbirth preparation, parenting and breastfeeding classes
• other services include counseling in nutrition, exercise, self care, and smoking cessation

BIRTH SERVICES

• Whether you choose to deliver your baby at our WomenCare Birth Center or at Women & Children's Hospital, our nurse-midwives and OB/GYN physicians will help guide and support you during this very special time. Your nurse-midwife will be with you throughout the birth of your baby and our OB/GYN physician is available 24 hours a day.
